Combat Patrol: Iron Warriors

This loaded box is an excellent way to start a new Iron Warriors-themed Chaos Space Marines collection – or expand an existing army – and save money compared to buying the kits individually. This army is led by a Warpsmith, a flexible leader who is adept at both ranged and close combat. A Chaos Terminator Squad acts as a durable line-breaking unit, Havocs wield heavy weapons to take care of heavy assets, while Legionaries capture and hold objectives. These 21 multipart plastic miniatures represent a complete Chaos Space Marines force for use in tight, tactical Combat Patrol games of Warhammer 40,000. The miniatures in this box are easy to customise. The Warpsmith can be armed with either a power axe or a thunder hammer, and has a choice of 2 heads – helmeted and bare.

The Havoc kit includes 2 autocannons, 2 heavy bolters, 2 lascannons, 2 missile launchers, and 1 reaper chaincannon. The champion can be armed with a plasma gun, meltagun, or flamer, and a power maul or Astartes chainsword.

The Chaos Terminators have a range of weapon options, including 5 combi-weapons, 3 power fists, 1 heavy flamer, 1 reaper autocannon, 1 chainfist, and 1 pair of lightning claws. The 9 heads and 5 sets of trophy racks are interchangeable across the miniatures.

The Aspiring Champion of the Legionaries can be armed with a plasma pistol or a bolt pistol, and a power fist, power maul, or power axe. The rest of the squad can be armed with interchangeable weaponry, including 8 bolters, 7 bolt pistols, 7 chainswords, 1 meltagun, 1 plasma gun, 1 flamer, 1 missile launcher, and 1 heavy bolter. They also have 13 interchangeable heads and 12 shoulder pads.

The box also includes 1 Iron Warriors Upgrades frame, which includes weapons, heads, and shoulder pads that can be used with the Legionaries and Havocs miniatures to make them look like true sons of Perturabo.
